Windows and Doors for Eventide, Hayle: Camel Glass’s Commercial Work

Camel Glass is supplying and installing windows and doors at Eventide, Gilbert & Goode’s residential development in Hayle, Cornwall. The project brings our commercial team into the delivery of new homes, supporting the development through specialist window and door supply and installation.

Eventide comprises 85 homes, with a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties. Designed to complement their Cornish surroundings, the homes combine contemporary finishes with features for modern living.

Supporting the delivery of new homes

For housebuilders and main contractors, windows and doors are a key part of the construction programme. Their installation needs to fit alongside other trades and the progress of each property, while maintaining consistent attention to fitting and finish.

At Eventide, Camel Glass’s role covers both supply and installation. Bringing these elements together provides a clear point of contact for the window and door package, supporting communication between the supplier, installation team and wider site team.

It is an approach that matters on residential developments, where work progresses across multiple plots and careful coordination helps each stage move forward.

A closer look at the project with Ryan

During a recent visit to Eventide, we spoke with Ryan, Camel Glass’s Commercial Contracts Manager, about our work on the development.

Grey-on-white windows, composite doors and aluminium bifolds

The window and door package brings together complementary products suited to modern residential living.

The windows feature grey external frames and white internally, providing a contemporary appearance to the elevations while keeping a neutral finish inside the homes.

Composite entrance doors create a welcoming focal point, while aluminium bifold doors provide a connection between indoor living spaces and gardens. Their folding operation allows the opening to be opened up, giving residents flexibility in how they use their living space.

Together, these products contribute to the appearance and everyday function of the homes.
