Job description

To assist the Operations Production Manager in all aspects of Fabrication of Aluminium Doors, Windows and Curtain Wall in line with the Camel Group production schedule.

Duties will involve:

· Fabrication, inclusive of hanging, beading, gasketing, of Aluminium Frames, i.e. Doors, Windows, Curtain Wall

· To ensure the manufacturing schedule is achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to meet targets and deadlines.

· Use of various machinery.

· Provide Technical Support, to both the Aluminium Fabrication Team and the overall business

· Assisting with incoming goods deliveries

· To ensure all Internal Maintenance is performed daily and reporting all Maintenance issues to the Line Manager

The candidate should:

· You should possess a high degree of product knowledge in a variety of Aluminium Systems, predominantly, Schueco & Cortizo

· Ideally, Have a minimum of 2 years experience in an Aluminium Fabrication based role

· Be able to prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively.

· Be driven to achieve objectives, regardless of problems.

· Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.

· Achieve team objectives.

Summary

Camel glass are looking for a good communicator, enthusiastic, hardworking, highly organised individual to join the admin team. This is a very busy branch of an established and growing company installing upvc, aluminium, joinery, balustrade and glass.

The installations coordinator role is full time 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday 42.5 hrs a week. The candidate will thrive in a busy fast pace environment with the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure while maintaining the highly organised system.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create customer accounts
  • Preparation and maintenance of digital files
  • Place orders with suppliers
  • Coordination of delivery date with the fitting teams schedule
  • Organising and maintaining the fitting schedule
  • Imputing of data into the software system
  • Responding to customer enquiries verbally and in writing
  • Invoicing customers on time and according to payment plans
  • Liaising with trade suppliers
  • Liaising with fitting teams

Ideal Candidate

The candidate will need to be reliable with excellent organisational and communication skills, working well as a team. Ideally, the candidate will enjoy problem solving and be able to work using your own initiative while prioritising your workload.

  • Admin experience
  • sage knowledge ( not necessary)
  • Microsoft office, Excel and PDF
  • good key board skills
  • previous experience working with trade would be advantageous but not necessary
