Camel Glass Wins GGP Installer Awards 2026 for Cornwall Coastal Project
We’re proud to announce that Camel Glass has been awarded Best Residential Installation (over £30,000) at the GGP Installer Awards 2026 — and the winning project was our stunning installation Tywardreath, Cornwall project.
This award recognises not just the final result, but the technical expertise, craftsmanship, and collaboration that went into delivering one of our most impressive coastal installations to date.
A Project Designed Around Light, Views & Architecture
Set within the Cornish coastline, this knock-down and rebuild project was designed to maximise panoramic views while remaining sensitive to its surroundings.
Working alongside Barc Architects, our role was to deliver a complete high-performance glazing package that would:
- Flood the home with natural light
- Frame uninterrupted coastal views
- Maintain clean, contemporary architectural lines
- Perform in a demanding coastal environment
The result is a home that perfectly balances openness, privacy, and durability — a key reason it stood out to the GGP judges.
High-Performance Glazing at the Core
This project showcases the very best of modern glazing systems, combining performance with striking design.
Key elements included:
- Schüco AWS 70 HI windows
- Schüco ASE 60 lift & slide doors
- Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing
- Aluminium rooflights
- Feature oxidised iron Inspiration Door
Each component was carefully selected and expertly installed to ensure the home performs as well as it looks — delivering thermal efficiency, strength, and longevity in a coastal setting.

This property is exposed to:
